Deleting Your Account
If you wish to delete your Vidla AI account and all associated data, follow this guide.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account:
- Your profile information is removed
- All your generated videos are permanently deleted
- Your video history is erased
- All associated data is removed from our systems
Important: This action cannot be undone. Make sure to download any videos you want to keep before deleting your account.
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives:
- Sign Out: You can simply sign out and stop using the service
- Download Videos: Save your videos locally before deleting
- Contact Support: If you're having issues, we may be able to help
How to Delete Your Account
Currently, account deletion requires contacting our support team:
- Contact our support team
- Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject
- Provide your account email address
- We'll process your request within 7 business days
- You'll receive confirmation when deletion is complete
Data Retention
After deletion:
- Your data is removed from active systems immediately
- Backup systems are purged within 30 days
- Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for legal compliance
- No personally identifiable information is kept
GDPR and CCPA Rights
If you're in the EU or California, you have additional rights:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of your data
- Right to Portability: Export your data in a standard format
- Right to Erasure: Request immediate deletion
- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
To exercise these rights, contact our privacy team.
Reactivating Your Account
Once deleted, your account cannot be reactivated. If you want to use Vidla AI again:
- Sign in with your Google account
- A new account will be created
- Your previous videos and history will not be restored
